Publication Ethics

The editors follow the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Declaration on Ethical Principles of Scientific Publications of the Association of Science Editors and Publishers (ASEP, Russia).

  • Authors submit original, previously unpublished work; cite sources properly; list all contributors and funding sources; disclose conflicts of interest; and notify the editors of any error found in a published paper.
  • Reviewers assess manuscripts objectively and on time, keep them confidential and decline to review in case of a conflict of interest.
  • Editors make decisions solely on scholarly grounds, regardless of the author’s origin, nationality, religion or views; keep information about manuscripts confidential; consider complaints; and, in cases of plagiarism, duplicate publication or data fabrication, publish a correction or retract the paper.
